As a teacher, I would like to see all the children in Haiti and around the world go to school and succeed in life. Unfortunately, in this twenty-first century, many children are still being a victim of the disease of poverty. As a result, they do not have the opportunity to attend school. I would like to be the voice that speaks for the great need for education for these children. From my classroom here in the U.S, I would like to light the fire of knowledge and education across miles, so these children can find their own sparks one day and light the way for others.

I dream of them being teachers that can open minds and hearts, nurse and doctors to help their community, lawyers to serve with justice, engineers to work on the infrastructure, great chef, educated farmers that could make the earth produce better. I dream of musicians, actors and artists that could guard and preserve the beautiful Haitian art. I also dream of scientists, athletes, mechanics and so on, to rebuild and serve their community.
